About the Role:
As a Senior Associate L2 in Data Engineering, you will play a key role in developing scalable, resilient, and high-performance big data solutions. You will collaborate with clients and internal teams to translate business needs into technical designs and deliver efficient end-to-end data engineering pipelines on Azure and other cloud platforms.
Your Impact:
- Build robust and scalable data ingestion pipelines from multiple heterogeneous sources—both in batch and real-time.
- Work with data transformation, integration, and analytics to create impactful data products.
- Apply strong performance tuning and optimization techniques to ensure efficient pipeline execution.
- Develop and maintain data storage and computation frameworks, especially with cloud-native services.
- Enable analytics, search, and aggregation functionality to support real-world data applications.
- Ensure cloud infrastructure readiness and deployment, especially on Azure.

Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Big Data technologies
- Proficiency in Java, Scala, or Python (Java preferred)
- Experience building and maintaining data pipelines using Hadoop stack tools
- Familiarity with real-time stream processing tools like Kafka, Spark Streaming, Flink
- Working knowledge of NoSQL/MPP databases such as HBase, MongoDB, Cassandra
- Strong experience with Azure data platform services
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (or equivalent work experience)
- Understanding of ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend)
- Experience with data governance and tools such as Collibra, Alation
- Knowledge of cloud certifications or willingness to pursue them is a plus
- Exposure to microservices architecture, distributed messaging frameworks, and indexing
